Season 1:

Candace plays the game led by new girl Violet Simmons, and soon everything starts spiraling. During Olivia Richmond's birthday party Candace is caught making out with Issac Salcedo, Olivia's boyfriend. This is the last straw that causes Olivia to get in her new car and speed away. Candace realizes that Violet set her up and immediately becomes suspicious. Violet pulls another stunt to broadcast Candace's relationship to the entire school causing her to lose the Student President election. Violet whispers that she is next to die which causes Candace to have a breakdown. Later Alex Portnoy visits Candace's mother who tells her that Candace has been checked into a teen therapy center. When the girls go to visit her they find she is doing better. However, in later episodes they discover that Violet is paying for her treatments and specifically required multiple forms of water therapy. Violet's prediction comes true when Candace accidentally falls into the therapy pool when all the staff have left. McKenna and Alex catch on and find her just a little too late.
